Norm has been in practice since 1966 and founded Gibsons in 1971.

He specialises in:

• Commercial Law - being a Business Law Accredited specialist, he advises on the day-to-day legal problems encountered by a wide variety of businesses.
• Family Law - Norm's commercial and business experience is particularly valuable in assisting clients in disputed property claims in the Family Court, especially where matrimonial assets are held by family businesses or trusts.
• Litigation - mainly relating to commercial disputes and contested Wills but during his many years of continuous practice he has acted in a vast range of disputes in the District Court, the Supreme Court, the Federal Court and the High Court of Australia.
